The two official surfaces do not currently agree
The publisher's August 5 launch FAQ said ReStory would be marked Playable on Steam Deck at launch and would not yet be fully Verified. It also said the team planned to keep working on compatibility.
The live Steam product page checked on August 10 displayed the compatibility result as Unknown. This guide preserves that conflict instead of upgrading the pre-launch promise into a current badge.
Use Steam as the live source
Steam's compatibility badge is the appropriate current source because it can change after testing or patches. Check it on the live store page close to purchase time.
If you already own the game and encounter a device-specific issue, include the Steam Deck model, OS version, game version, and exact symptom in the official support route.
